Idea 017 of 100 hopes to bring some of what New York used to be back to an iconic avenue. Anyone who has experienced the new pedestrian areas of the city e.g. Times Square and Herald Square, or have strolled down Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn lately will know that having a beautiful space on the street reserved just for pedestrians is an idyllic way to move through The City.
